This 2020 5oz Gold Australian Wedge-tailed Eagle Gold Proof coin is limited to 50 minted and proofed coins as part of the Australian Wedge-Tailed Eagle Series.  The design was created by John M. Mercanti, who sculpted 5 portrayals within the series.

Features of the Coin:

1. Its Design:  The artistry on the reverse side of the coin portrays the biggest bird of prey in Australia.  This image depicts the Wedge-tailed Eagle’s descent onto its prey.  On the obverse side is a stoic image of Queen Elizabeth II.
